René has 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry of which 23 years were in the insurance industry in New Zealand and South Africa. She has held senior roles within New Zealand’s largest broking houses. René has a wide range of expertise in Property, Marine, Motor, Travel, Group Life, Health Plans and Financial, Professional and Liability Insurance and risks. She has been responsible for the provision of specialist liability and property risk advice to many Professions, Government and Corporate Entities, including Dual Listed Entities and Superannuation Trustees.

Jené has over 9 years of experience across multiple industries including Engineering and has held project management roles in her previous life before joining our team a year ago. Jené believes that values are the core of who we are, walking the talk and living out those values, not just simply professing them when interacting with each other, our clients and our community. Having recently enrolled to undertake an MBA she will be gaining a deeper level and knowledge depth of business and their risk and exposure, specifically the inner workings of Businesses in Aotearoa and Australia.

Kayla comes to Donaldson Brown with several years insurance experience, including direct to client and brokerage. She joins us as an associate risk adviser with a background in life and disability insurance, personal lines and corporate insurance. Kayla has been heavily involved with small clients, as well as high profile accounts in her past roles, including in a claims capacity. Kayla believes insurance should be clear, concise and most of all client centric in every aspect.
