Business Continuity Plan
On the 23rd of March, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern confirmed the country was at alert level 3 and alert level 4 in 48 hours in response to the growing number of Corona Virus cases in New Zealand.
Donaldson Brown has always had a robust Business Continuity Plan with full offsite working capabilities. ‘Work from home’ measures were requested by the government at the weekend to slow down the transmission of the virus and the potentially life-threatening impact it can have on the elderly and vulnerable members of our community, especially if medical services were overrun.
The entire Donaldson Brown family across its 5 locations nationwide is taking its responsibility to do its part seriously and to protect the vulnerable and ‘flatten the curve’. We did with immediate effect enact a work from home policy. We are equally respecting our obligations to our current customers just as seriously. It is apparent however, that in these unprecedented times, the nature in which we interact with our clients and suppliers needs to adapt.
Virtual Meeting Capability
We can provide virtual meeting capability across multiple platforms to meet the needs of our customers. Zoom, Microsoft Team and other functionality (including the old school phone call) can be utilised if you need to talk to us. We can set this up for you and provide all instructions as required. It’s as simple as pie!
Face to Face meetings
We are respecting the Governments request and taking a common-sense approach to these situations so please understand that any face to face meetings will take place once alert level 4 has been lifted. We have an obligation to our team to keep them safe as we do to everyone else. We will work with you to come up with the best solutions in these situations.
